<reviewbody>Supposedly the movie makes a comment on life in the South.
I must have missed it.
MST3k did a good job on it but the actual film isn't good.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>From the man who brought us "Little Shop of Horrors" comes this sleezy tale of love, betrayal, and blood-sucking horror from the deep. The acting is pretty good, except for the main character (which is where it really counts anyway). Our hero Steve should really try changing facial expressions every once in a while. And that was the lamest ecology speech I've ever heard. Imagine the following, spoken with a completely blank expression and in an annoyingly serene voice:

"Number one, an explosion underwater would destroy every living thing and wreck what nature took years to build up. Number two, I'm paid to prevent the useless slaughter of wildlife. Number three I'd have to get authorization..." Blah blah blah...

I love how he walks up to his girlfriend and says serenely, "there was a young one in that trap. I had to kill it."

Also, keep an eye out for the scene where our stud Steve answers the door with no shirt on for no particular reason.

*Note: If you want a good look at the monsters, you'll have to download the 256k at least. The 64k version is very blurry, and the monster barely shows up. Believe me, its worth the wait!</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Another one so bad that it actually kind of interesting to watch, at least once. Not sure I would download it though.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>Bet you didn't know leeches sound just like cougars. Not as cornball as of a lot of Corman's other work. The lead character could've been a cardboard cutout with a voice-over. The only truely likeable character is stuck in an abusive relationship and then driven to hang himself. I did like how it cuts from a shot of the first corpse to the sherriff sitting at his desk eating a big bowl of some kind of chunky slop. What, there's no mortuary in this town? Worth a watch for fans of the B genre, but just once.</reviewbody>
    <reviewtitle>Corman more serious</reviewtitle>

<reviewbody>Good cheesy movie. I just love the characters. The acting is what it is, not bad for a B movie. I am a big fan of the giant bug B movies and this one isn't bad.</reviewbody>

<reviewbody>My wife caught me watching this old B flick, she rolls her eyes and said where do you find find those cheesy old movies and why do you watch them? These movies make me laugh, they are cheesy, the plot isn't go great, the monsters can use some work. But they are clean, they are funny, they are amusing and they are harmless. These old film are like a breath of smelly air and I just love it. I used to watch Creature Features with Bob Wilkins and he had some of the more horridly cheesy films that could be found. It was all in good fun.</reviewbody>
<reviewtitle>Oh yeah, dis is the Bomb!</reviewtitle>
